LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police arrested a teenager in connection with a shooting at a police car Sunday night.
Police said a teenager has been charged with two counts of attempted murder after allegedly firing six shots at a Mount
Washington, Ky., police car. According to police, the teen was arrested after he allegedly fired a gun at officers who were
chasing the car he was riding in.The pursuit began about 8:30 p.m. after Mount Washington police got a report that shots had
been fired on Hubbards Lane. A pursuit began when officers tried to stop a car matching the description of one allegedly
involved in the shooting incident, a Mount Washington police spokesman said. Police said the chase continued into Louisville,
where the vehicle stopped and three people fled the scene. Police were able to catch the teenager. The 16-year-old is charged with two counts of attempted murder, four counts of wanton endangerment, and one count each of tampering with physical evidence and fleeing and evading police.
